My favorite little Mexican food joint in Delaware! The specials on jumbo margaritas are unbeatable. The margaritas always have a great flavor and alcohol content. The special when I was in was a jumbo watermelon margarita for $6. I also had the Hawaiian enchiladas, which are one of my favorite things to eat. The mixture of some spice and pineapple is terrific.

Extremely crowded yet extremely good service! Very impressed. I got the Diablo Chicken, one of the spiciest dishes I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The waitress warned me that it was spicy, and usually I kind of laugh and shrug it off because I can usually handle it. This dish absolutely deserves respect, it does NOT mess around! Highly recommend for spice lovers. Awesome salsa, spicy dishes, and great service. It’s gotta be my favorite Mexican restaurant around the 614!

Absolutely loved this restaurant. This is not a bistro style Mexican restaurant. It is a average Mexican restaurant as far as the size and prices. I would take a prices are a little lower than normal. The food however, is comparable to that of a very high end bistro style restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious. They use fresh ingredients, and they stick to the traditional corn tortillas/authentic style Mexican cuisine. Everywhere I go all the refried beans taste the same it seems like. Except here they were much better than anywhere I've ever had. The only downside was the margaritas were a little weak.

Love coming here! All the menu options I've tried have been good! I especially love the pollo locos tacos! Margs are delicious here as well, and taste stronger than some other places. Menu prices are very reasonable and the servers are always so nice!

Used to like this place and I've heard it's gone down hill but we still got take out from there tonight and it will be the last time. Got home and started eating and about halfway through crunched on something hard.... thought maybe it was just a bone or something. Horrifyingly enough it was a damn glass shard about the size of a dime. Called to talk to a manager and the one that came on said he couldn't do anything about it because he just started his shift and doesn't know anything about it. For your own safety you probably shouldn't eat here. I will be filing a report with the health department.

So enjoyable all of the servers where very nice. Foid was excellent. Yes I would go there again

It was our first visit to Mi Cerritos and the food was excellent. I had the Chicago burrito and a margarita and loved them both. We will definitely go back.

Food quality has steadily gotten worse. The waiter's inability to explain food choices - how spicy the dish was predicted to be, etc. has been a problem. There are other quality Mexican Restaurants around. Going to have to write off Mi Cerrito until quality of food and desire to please customers drastically improves.

Usually it is very good but the last time there the food and the service was not Great. The waitress took one drink order and its like she didn't even realize there was 3 other people at the table. Then when the food came the guy that delivered it threw it on the table just short of going in my lap. Then when I told him I said that I didn't want any refried beans he grabbed the plate so abruptly that some of the food got on the table and my arm.The reason I give 2 stars is because it use to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

We enjoyed lunch here! Friendly service in a clean restaurant. Drinks were good and fairly priced. My quesadilla came exactly how I ordered it. Great chips and salsa too!

Mi Cerrito has a large menu with lots of good items. Their fresh salsa is very good. The prices are reasonable and Portion sizes are plenty. I get good service whenever I go here.

This was the first time we had come to this restaurant. We will definitely come again! So many options and the flavors were so good. Reminded me of my grandma's cooking. Portions were large and their fresh salsa and chips are to die for!!

Great little place to eat on a weekday or weekend night. Maintains a good honey feels while serving up very flavorful food. Fast and clean service.

Customer service was awesome! Good latin music made the atmosphere alive yet appropriate for the afternoon guests. Bathroom was very clean at 1:00p.m. on a Wednesday. Food tastes fresh and delicious. Shrimp and scampi was cooked to perfection and homemade tortillas were great with the salsa. Will surely visit again...maybe visit the bar after great food for happy hour!

Honestly, it is difficult for me to come up with a way to distinguish one Mexican restaurant from another (hence four versus five stars). The basic ingredients for them are the same and I can't say that order in which they are used provides a lot of opportunities to set yourself apart. However, this restaurant does have some options that are different than others, soups for example, that provide a different take on Mexican food and at a good price. I was pleased with my visit and would go back.

Love fish street tacos, great service, great location by puplic parking, across from remodel Ed theater.

We ordered food 3 hours in advance and my wife went there to pick up food and the manager was rude and food wasn't ready. My wife waited 45 more minutes and food still wasn't ready and they was still rude. So never going back. We understand the situation is bad right now we always try to help. People should have been more prepared cause there isn't people coming in and ive seen it busy and they were alot more professional.

Lovely Mexican comfort food with innovative combinations, like the tasty Popeye (spinich) tacos. Excellent margas, friendly attentive service, pleasant atmosphere. An oasis in the winter, when the bar/counter is heated from below 😌!!

The best homemade margaritas in the Columbus area. The service was great and the food was outstanding. My wife loved her meal and my enchilada combo meal was great. We will definitely be back. It's worth coming here for the homemade margaritas alone!

Great service and delicious food. Oh try the raspberry mojito...its to die for. I had the polo loco with was very tender mushrooms and onions, and she had jumbo shrimp and scallops both were prepared excellent. Nice little cozy place very clean.

This little mexican place is amazing. The margaritas were refreshing and delicious. They didn't have that fake sugar sweetness. I tasted fresh squeezed juice with the liqueur. Absolutely amazing! The food was also delicious. Street tacos were outstanding. Great balance of meat, and vegetables. The marinade for the meats you will not taste anywhere else! This place is a must check out!

Yummy 😋 food n courteous staff

Took family of 4 to have lunch after 2pm we waited for service apparently under staffed that day. Waitress did her best being the only one running around waiting. Food was Great! Service was good, but wait time was this ti.e too slow, no servers fault. We love eating there and will be back. Hopefully back to normal time on ser ice like we usually get!

Ordered take-out and the food was prepared quickly and delicious! Got the queso chicken and churros... would highly recommend both!

if you go here for dinner pay by cash only they charge my bank card five times and said it was declined check my bank notifications and they charged me five times. Bad coustmer service as well

Food was an absolute 6 out of 5 stars, unfortunately slow and forgetful service pushed their score down (server was young and inexperienced, i believe others are most likely outstanding) Alcoholic mixed drinks were a but dissappointing and inconsistent (we ordered the same drink, but they were made different), when i mentioned the inconsistency, was told the manager made them. Very crowded, very popular. I will come back for the food alone, it was beyond belief.

Not a fan. Beans were runny and watered down, rice was white and not mexican, salsa was bland, and service was slow. The knife had dried food on it. I think the waitress forgot about us and only came back after we waited for a box and the check, but never to check on us to see how the food was. Probably a good thing though. Stomach felt a little queasy the rest of the afternoon. Probably the runny beans. A couple flies flying around didnt help matters. The only good thing was the host. He was very nice. Unfortunately we wont be back.

This is the best Mexican food in the greater Columbus area. Hands down. Staff is extremely kind and very kid friendly atmosphere. Get the tacos! Support the local businesses during this time!

The margaritas are awesome!!!! I highly recommend ordering the chicken nachos and queso as well. They don't make for very good leftovers, but are amazing when fresh from the kitchen
